The day we left has rolled into day 2. It doesn't feel like we only left London yesterday! We had a great journey to Addis Ababa, 20 of us in the back of the plane with our fleeces all excited and finally ready to fly off to our amazing challenge.
Most of us slept, mainly because the films were so bad.
For those that needed sleeping pills some of us are still asleep in the departure lounge now to Kilimanjaro.
We are all bonding. We have met our fantastic guide and medic Gwyn and Saffron. We have mentioned that we have more medicine on us than they do!
They certainly have their work cut out with our bunch of ladies!
The coffee is amazing, pure Ethiopian beautiful coffee, so we've had a few of those.
We land in Kili in a couple of hours and then a further 2 hour bus ride to the hotel.
Gwyn will be briefing us followed by dinner tonight. And tomorrow is the big day.
Right the gate is open, so we are on the move to board the flight to Kili.
