Below is a message directly from the group!!! They are doing fantastic!!
We have arrived at our first base camp and are having a lovely cup of
tea and popcorn!
When we arrived our tents were ready and it is really amazing here! We have walked for five hours and we have all managed brilliantly .
It's nearly time for dinner, we are tired and
cold but all feeling fantastic and very
proud of each other.
We are so proud of them!!! Well done ladies!!
go ladies go!!! We're so proud of you all, especially Debra Tammer. With love your Canadian fans and her mum and dad, (who are very happy to know she's having a nice cuppa tea!)

Its 5 o'clock in the morning here (seriously should have done this with you guys) and I just wanted to say GO GO GO, you are all doing fantastically. Love folllowing your updates!
